You can view a couple of recent interviews on youtube where he attempts to explain his thought process. It is painful viewing. He is clearly gripped by some form of dementia. This seems to be the obvious line of attack for Dawkins and co., and they duly oblige in this regard - even arguing that he has been hijacked and manipulated by Christians. Who's to say?
